Terms of Service

By using Todai you're agreeing to these terms. We'll be straight with you about what we do, what you can't do, and what happens if things go sideways. Read the whole thing — most of it is common sense.

By creating an account or using Todai, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use Todai.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Todai. If you're between 13 and 18, you must have a parent or guardian's permission. By using Todai you represent that you meet this requirement.

Todai is a personalized morning brief tool. You create "pulses" (topics you want to follow) and Todai generates AI-written memos summarizing news and information related to those topics. You can also share memos and interact with other users in the social feed.

You're responsible for your account. Keep your sign-in credentials secure. If you suspect unauthorized access, contact us at hello@todai.appimmediately.

One person, one account.Don't create accounts for other people without their permission, and don't impersonate anyone.

You retain ownership of pulses you create and content you post. By posting publicly (sharing memos to the feed, commenting), you grant Todai a non-exclusive license to display that content on the platform.

Don't post:

• Illegal content or anything that violates someone else's rights.
• Hate speech, harassment, threats, or content targeting individuals or groups.
• Sexually explicit material, gore, or content depicting violence.
• Spam, scams, malware, or attempts to game the platform.
• Copyrighted material you don't have rights to share.
• Misinformation designed to deceive or harm.

We can remove content or suspend accounts that violate these rules. We try to be reasonable and consistent, but if we mess up, email us and we'll review.

Todai's memos are generated by AI based on the prompts you provide and search results from third-party sources. AI can be wrong. Memos are a tool to keep you informed, not a substitute for verified reporting or professional advice (financial, legal, medical, etc.).

Verify anything important before acting on it.Don't trade on a memo bullet without checking the source.

You agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or copy the app or backend.
• Use the service to build a competing product.
• Bypass rate limits or exploit bugs to overuse the service.
• Send abusive volumes of requests to our APIs.
• Use Todai for any illegal purpose.

If we introduce paid plans, billing terms (price, billing cycle, refund policy) will be presented at the time of purchase. You can cancel a subscription anytime; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period unless required otherwise by law.

You can stop using Todai anytime by deleting your account. We can suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms or use the service in a way that risks harm to others or the platform. We'll try to give notice when we can.

Todai is actively being built. Features may change, get added, or be removed. We'll try not to break things you depend on without warning, but we're not promising any specific feature will exist forever.

Todai is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or perfectly accurate. AI-generated content can contain mistakes.

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Todai isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability won't exceed the amount you've paid us in the past 12 months (or $50 if you haven't paid anything).

You agree to defend and indemnify Todai against claims arising from your content, your conduct, or your violation of these terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in courts located in New York County, NY.

We may update these terms. If changes are material, we'll notify you in the app or by email. Continuing to use Todai after the update means you accept the new terms.
